I can't blog a day without sharing a few projects. This was our BUTTERFLIES class a couple weeks ago.
We used the priceless set, the butterfly punch for the pansies, the Dreams du jour set, and the Butterflies sizzix die for our projects. It was a really fun class! Thanks for stopping by!

Dusting off the ol' blog!
I can't believe that it's been SOOO long since I posted!
I apologize for my slacker-ness and don't promise to not do it again, but I do promise to make it more of a priority! I appreciate all you comments and observations! and hanging in there while I remember where I put it (I got it together, just can't remember where I put it ;)
I have OODLES of goodies to share!
So I'll start with canning!

My youngest pair peeling the peach skins off blanched peaches. They were serious.
8 Quarts of fresh peaches. Oh these are going to taste sooo good this winter!
Peaches preped for the jammery!
It's all in a days work!
That's been keeping me busy! It's PRICKLY PEAR SEASON in Arizona and my wonderful kitchen kids picked 10 gallons of prickly pears and we made juice out of 5 gallons, which boils down *literally* to 1 gallon juice. We made a quadruple batch of jelly which turned out DIVINE! and then gave the remaining jelly to a friend so she could try her hand at the jelly making process. Then we followed it up with peaches, peach jam, peach jelly, spiced peach jam, and pear bread, pear butter, and cinnamon pears. Needless to say this fall harvest has kept us all busy, in case you're wondering if I'm just sitting around with my thumb in my cardstock.
